stateside quickly became one of my favorite projects i have worked on. from initial sketches of the logo to creating a full website, the concept took on it's own life: paying homage to the blue collar america that surrounded the wwii era.

wanting to break free of the usual restaurant websites, i created a ui based on simplicity and comfort. with easy icons sliding in and out of frame as the user navigates + a static header that remains in view at the top of the window for quick navigation. (site currently under construction)

menus fold in and out with accordion style animation to quickly display only the parts of the menu you want to see.

the republic's page called for more graphic, entertaining look. without sacrificing concept & style, the republic's page was inspired by the art of the era with a very patriotic voice. the loyalty program focuses on a very american past time - drinking beer.

lastly, the tasks of creating a page that could encompass both the unique events the restaurant has but also the ongoing promotions that stateside featues & creating a page directing the user to the many ways they could interact with stateside.

email marketing also serves as a large part of stateside's marketing. creating a concept based on "blacked-out" government documents and classified files, the consumer receives the inside scoop on all things stateside.
